How to be less Appealing …and have happier FOI requesters #2

Internal reviews, Appeals and Tribunals: these are generally unwanted by practitioners as they cause extra work, but could many of them could be avoided? In this session our chair Lynn Wyeth, Leicester City Council & NADPO, will be joined by Paul Mutch, OSIC and Aiden Clarkson, ICO who will give the regulator’s perspective, focusing on the common ‘gotchas’ that lead to escalations and what practitioners could / should consider to help them respond to more requests to the requester’s satisfaction as well as what to expect throughout the appeal/ tribunal processes.
