How to be less Appealing …and have happier FOI requesters

Internal reviews, Appeals and Tribunals are things that most practitioners would prefer not to have to deal with, not least because they cause extra work. But could many of them be avoided?

In this session, Lynn Wyeth, Leicester City Council & NADPO, Sarah Laws, Camden Council, and Raz Edwards, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust & Chair of the National SIGN, will take a look at the common ‘gotchas’ that lead to escalations. They’ll also discuss what practitioners could/should consider to help produce responses that meet more requester needs first time round, as well as what to expect throughout the appeal and tribunal process.
